Internal Auditing & Risk Management (AIMR) is a fully open-access journal. All published content is freely available to read, download, copy, and redistribute without subscription or payment barriers.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This means anyone is free to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially

- Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made

Author Rights
- Authors retain copyright of their published work
- Authors grant AIMR the right of first publication
- Authors may deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories immediately upon publication

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Option A — No APC:
AIMR does not charge Article Processing Charges. Publication costs are covered by Athenaeum University of Bucharest.
Option B — With APC:
AIMR charges an Article Processing Charge of [amount] EUR per accepted article. The APC covers editorial processing, peer review coordination, DOI registration, and digital archiving. There are no submission fees.
Digital Archiving
Published content is permanently archived on:
- The AIMR website (https://univath.ro/cercetare/AIMR)
- CEEOL (https://www.ceeol.com)
- RePEc (https://ideas.repec.org)
Self-Archiving Policy (Green OA)
Authors are permitted and encouraged to:
- Post the submitted version (preprint) on personal websites or preprint servers at any time
- Post the accepted version (post-print) in institutional repositories after acceptance
- Post the published version anywhere with proper attribution and DOI link
